Building Wind Finland 2020 together with

Wind Finland 2021 will be organized as a hybrid event in Musiikkitalo, Helsinki 22nd of Sept.

The biggest wind power seminar in Finland gathers over 200 people from more than 10 countries to network and learn from the latest winds in the industry. As we are moving closer to the era of new normal, event organizers work hard to make safe events happen – and so are we.

“We have our fingers crossed and hope for the best at the same time that we prepare for the worst case scenario,” says Saara Jalkanen, the Event Manager of Finnish Wind Power Association. For now Wind Finland is prepared to be organized as a hybrid event. Seminar and networking will be arranged both face to face at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki and online on Wind Finland networking platform. “This also gives our partners more visibility and possibilities to contact people,” Jalkanen comments.

In Musiikkitalo, Helsinki, the visitor can experience Wind Finland to the fullest. In addition to great speakers the day is full of face to face (and online) networking and will be followed by cocktails and the official Wind Finland dinner. Let’s hope that after over a year of only virtual contacts we can actually meet the familiar and new faces, and have conversations in the real world.

First speakers announced

Wind Finland’s first speakers are confirmed and amongst other topics we will hear about the coexistence of wind power and defense, electrification and hydrogen economy and about renewable energy investments. We get to hear some insights from the responsible leader of the VN TEAS study on wind power and Finnish Wind Power Association will also give an outlook about Finnish wind power status.
