Dr Hannele Holttinen is currently RDI Lead, Energy systems at CLIC Innovation Oy. Through her own consultancy Recognis Oy she is coordinating international research on grid integration at IEA WIND (Task 25), and at G-PST (Global Power System Transformation Consortium).

She has her MSc and PhD from Helsinki Technical University (Aalto), where she is Docent since 2014. She worked previously at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in different fields of wind energy and energy system integration research, active at international networks of IEA Wind and European Wind Energy Platforms ETIP and TPWIND as well as Nordic energy research.

Claudia Hain is managing director and co-founder of the storage technology company Wolf Energetik GmbH, based in Dresden/Germany. The engineering specialists develop large-scale electricity and hydrogen storage systems for diverse applications in the energy system. As a lawyer trained in environmental and administrative law and municipal economics, she has been supporting the patent holding company bw-energiesysteme in the serial development of technology companies (SunCoal Industries, thermea.Energiesysteme, Sunfire) based on patented key technologies since 2010. The Berliner is passionate about the transition of technologies into industrial use for the conversion of the energy industry to renewable energy.

Fredrik Bodecker is an expert in European energy trading and the founder of Bodecker Partners, a consultancy firm specializing in renewable energy and environmental markets. His extensive knowledge and experience in energy markets, particularly in the European context, enable him to provide valuable insights into the industry’s trends and challenges.
Under his leadership, Bodecker Partners advises clients on various aspects of renewable energy projects, such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), renewable energy certificates, and carbon markets. Fredrik Bodecker’s expertise is instrumental in helping companies navigate the complexities of the evolving energy landscape, including the shift towards sustainable energy sources and the impact of new technologies and regulations on energy trading.

Heidi Paalatie, M.Econ. in Corporate Environmental Management, is Director of Operations in Finnish Wind Power Association. She has been with the association over ten years with wide range of responsibilities within public relations, advocacy, and communications. FWPA is the leading industry association for wind power in Finland. The association is a key player, when it comes to providing information and forming the future of the industry in Finland.

Tapio Melgin is a partner at McKinsey’s Helsinki office and a leader in McKinsey’s Sustainability and Global Energy and Materials practices. He also co-leads the Firm’s global sustainable fuels service line (advanced biofuels and e-fuels). Tapio works across green materials, renewable energy and cleantech on strategy and business building with clients in the Nordics, Europe and North America. He has significant experience on new green value proposition commercialization, including bioeconomy innovations, hydrogen derivatives, battery value chain, circularity, industrial decarbonization and cleantech machinery. Before joining McKinsey, Tapio co-founded a start-up.

Anna Wachtmeister has over 15 years’ experience in renewable energy and has worked on wind across Scandinavia and the British Isles. Anna joined Vestas in 2008 and is Vestas’ Sales Vice President for the Nordic countries, Estonia, UK and Ireland.

Satu Tuurna works in Kiwa Inspecta as product manager of lifetime assessment and root cause analysis. Her professional interests over 20 years include materials, degradation and failures in high temperature equipment of power and process plants, and life and risk assessment for industrial facilities.
